2026 January Highlights

Am heartened by the increase in usership and interest from the broader teaching fraternity this year.

1) Viewership

In Jan 2026, there are about 360 page views each day. Colleagues from Methodist Girls’ School and Raffles Institution – along with many other schools – have been using the interactive activities for their lessons.

2) LLM Referrals

Got 3 precious referrals from ChatGPT – and 1 from Copilot – which suggests that EdTechSims is gaining the tiniest bit of traction with the A.I. models.

3) WebArchiveSG

EdTechSims is happily ensconced in WebArchiveSg, a National Library Board collection of Singapore websites that showcases facets of Singapore life. WebArchiveSg preserves web content for information, reference and research on Singapore’s history and heritage.

4) Interest from Colleagues

Friends, ex-colleagues and fellow teachers reached out for support in creating their own interactive lessons.

Would like to share that all workshop resources including guiding articles and videos are available here.

5) Golden Point Award

Would also like to share my gratitude in receiving a Golden Point Award (2nd prize, English poetry) for a suite of poems on midlife ennui.

The receding hairline and expanding waistline, finally, good for something.

My gratitude to the National Arts Council, The Arts House, judges, my supportive friends and family.

Looking forward to learning much from the mentorship with Cyril : ]

Thank you for reading this post.

Have a great 2026!
