2025 September Highlights

Thankful to report some traction in viewership and link referrals this month.

1) Viewership

EdTechSims has averaged 250 views daily for the past three months.

Most visitors are from Singapore though we can be certain that teachers in other countries are using these activities as well.

2) Link Referrals

The bulk of link referrals came from SLS (2025 referrals) and search engines (390 referrals). It is heartening to note that these websites are directing traffic here:

  • ChatGPT (5 referrals) and Perplexity (1 referral) – yay, AI platforms are taking note!
  • Mr Jansen Tan’s website (100 referrals; according to a web search, Mr Tan is a Senior Teacher who received the MOE Outstanding Science Teacher Award 2025)
  • Google Classroom (61 referrals)
  • Digital Services Awards (16 referrals)
  • Raffles Girls’ School (1 referral)

3) Blog post by Lawrence

Lawrence, a lead specialist at the ministry’s Educational Technology Division, discussed the strengths and areas of improvement for EdTechSims.

Really appreciate him taking the time to offer valuable ideas for taking this project further.

4) Ask Our Acads

Ask Our Acads is set up by a group of student volunteers to provide academic support to underprivileged learners. It is a generous and impressive initiative.

The Ask Our Acads website provides a link to EdTechSims.

I’m heartened by these young leaders and wish them all the best in their tutoring endeavours!

5) Schools

These schools have used various EdTechSims activities for their lessons:

  • Raffles Institution
  • Raffles Girls’ School
  • Serangoon Secondary School
  • Hillgrove Secondary School
  • Methodist Girls’ School
  • Gan Eng Seng Secondary School
  • CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent
  • Dunman High School
  • and many others

Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind patronage. Please let me know if there is any offering I can improve on!

Have a good upcoming year end rest :]
